In fact, the Realtor.com® 2025 Top New Construction Metros report reveals there are 10 U.S. markets where new builds remain accessible and where builders are delivering much-needed supply at prices that work for today’s buyers.

These metros were selected based on share of new-home inventory, affordability compared to local wages, climate resilience, and sustained buyer demand.

Below, we highlight top metros where you can still snag a brand-new home for under $300,000—a rare find in today’s market.

Raleigh-Cary, NC
