The largest oceanfront property in Miami Beach has just hit the market for an eye-watering $169 million—mere months after it broke local records by selling for $105 million.
Developer Todd Michael Glaser and partners made headlines in February when they purchased the 2.34-acre property for the extraordinary sum.
Back then, the team was going to either transform the property into a $250 million megamansion or flip it for a profit.
Now, it seems they are looking to reel in on the latter option—if they get anywhere near the $9,010 per square foot asking price, which has helped the property to top the week’s most expensive homes list.
The sprawling property boasts 290 feet of deep-water frontage, a 22,000-square-foot gated estate, and every luxurious amenity imaginable.
Lavish highlights include a curved imperial staircase, a dining room designed for grand-scale entertaining, home theater, fitness center, waterfront billiards room, a built-in entertainment bar, sauna, primary suite with domed ceilings, and an indoor racquetball court.
Covered terraces and numerous patios overlook an in-ground pool, hot tub, tennis court, and boat dock. It is also being offered furnished for lease with an asking monthly rental price of $495,000.
Other jaw-dropping estates to make this week’s most expensive list include a ski-in/ski-out mountain estate in Utah, a Palm Beach mansion nearing completion, and a Beverly Hills mansion with a Hollywood pedigree.
