Summer is well and truly underway—and many of Hollywood’s biggest stars have taken full advantage by jetting off on all manner of luxurious vacations.
However, despite enjoying trips to exotic destinations, from Italy to the Caribbean, a number of A-listers have also found time to make some serious real estate moves over the past few weeks.
Take Orlando Bloom, who made headlines earlier this summer after it was revealed that he had split from his longtime partner, Katy Perry, just days before he attended the Venice wedding of Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos and former TV host Lauren Sanchez.
But while his romantic life has dominated the news agenda, he’s also quietly made a headline-worthy sale of his Beverly Hills, CA, mansion, offloading the property for $7 million just weeks after the news of his separation was revealed.
Hoping to follow in his successful footsteps is Ellen DeGeneres, who recently listed a sprawling British farmhouse in the Cotswolds for the eye-watering sum of $30 million—just over a year after she purchased it.
DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, who relocated to the U.K. in November 2024, initially intended to use the home as a vacation property. However, after opting to make their move more permanent, they snapped up a different dwelling nearby—leaving them without much use for their first British home base.
