Nicole Kidman Applies for Residency in Portugal—but Husband Keith Urban Is Missing From the Documents

Nicole Kidman has applied for residency in Portugal, revealing that the Hollywood star will be spending more time in Europe. However, her spouse, Keith Urban, was not mentioned in the documents.

The 58-year-old “Practical Magic” star is looking to spend more time abroad, having already submitted paperwork to the country’s Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum, according to local media outlet SIC Notícias.

Kidman has reportedly been looking to snap up a lavish escape in Portugal for quite some time, according to the outlet.

Although her spouse was missing from the documentation, the New York Post revealed that all is well between Urban and Kidman.

The country singer, 57, was reportedly not mentioned in any of the documents because he is not able to take a break from his touring schedule.

“Keith was unable to be in Portugal for this appointment as he is currently on tour in the US and it is mandatory for applicants to be physically present in order to apply for the visa.

“He is scheduled to submit his application at a later date that works with his tour schedule. While Nicole and Keith own a home in Portugal, their primary residence will continue to be in Nashville,” an insider told the New York Post.

Meanwhile, the actress is believed to have her eyes on a lavish dwelling in the star-studded CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, which is about 61 miles south of Lisbon.

The area already hosts a few famous faces, including George Clooney, Paris Hilton, and Princess Eugenie. It is also the same spot where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly snapped up a home last year.

Reports revealed that the couple splashed out over $4.7 million on one of the lavish residences, which has to yet to be completed.

CostaTerra is a subsection of Discovery Land Co., which is an enterprise founded by Mike Meldman.

Kidman and Urban, who share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, already own a lavish dwelling in Lisbon.

It’s just one of several locations the couple spend time at as they frequently travel between the United States and Australia.

Kidman and Urban tied the knot in 2006 and have been focusing on their impressive Hollywood careers, as well as building a real estate empire.

They have since purchased two penthouses in the posh North Sydney Latitude building, which they combined to make an expansive condo.

Just one year after they said “I do,” the lovebirds splashed out over $3 million on a 36-acre estate in Franklin, TN.

The following year, the couple upgraded their pad to a luxe abode in Nashville.

They also hold the keys to properties in Manhattan, Sydney, and New South Wales.

The news of Kidman’s documentation comes months after an intruder broke into their $8.4 million Beverly Hills, CA, home on Valentine’s Day.

At the time, TMZ claimed that Kidman and Urban were not at their seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom property when it was targeted, adding that “one of their employees” arrived back at the home while the intruder was there and “scared them off.”

The burglar is understood to have gained access to the home by smashing a window, according to police sources who spoke to the outlet.
