Musician Adam Lambert’s sprawling Los Angeles home has sold for $6.2 million—under its original asking price.
The home, perched above the Sunset Strip in the Hollywood Hills, was originally listed in May for $7,375,000.
Listing with Greg Holcomb of Carolwood Estates in Beverly Hills, CA, described the home as a “Sunset Strip stunner” and called out the kitchen’s “pure drama.”
It’s unclear where Lambert, 43, may snap up a new home, but the New York Post reported in March that he was spotted touring a glam condo in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood.
“Adam loved the home and his time there, but it was simply time for a new chapter,” Holcomb says of Lambert’s Los Angeles house.

Earlier this week, the 5,028-square-foot boxy-style home, with four bedrooms and six baths, nabbed a buyer, represented by Dennis DeWalt and Brandon Meneses of The Beverly Hills Estates. The sale price was recorded as $6,200,000.
In 2018, the American Idol runner-up for season eight, who also starred in the Broadway musical “Cabaret at the KitKat Club” and portrayed Judas in a Hollywood Bowl production of “Jesus Christ Superstar,” snapped up the home for $6,500,000.
Built in 1952, and featuring a white-stucco exterior, this is a home suited for entertaining, with an eight-seat island in the kitchen crafted from stone; outdoor kitchen, firepit and L-shaped infinity-edge pool; and a motor court for guests to arrive in.
That last feature is “a rarity in these hills,” says Holcomb. Each of the four bedrooms is en suite, too, making them ideal for overnight guests. A gym could easily be converted into a fifth bedroom.
Lambert updated the home to meet his needs and design aesthetic. This included, says Holcomb, “the primary suite that is pure rockstar glam with dual walk-in closets and a massive shower with glass walls that overlook the city, all with beautiful custom stone and wood paneling.”
In the listing, it’s described as “elegant but ever so cool and seductive.” Also in the suite is a black soaking tub and suspended Scandi-style fireplace, plus a wrap-around balcony.
Custom finishes and fixtures throughout the home, as well as custom stonework around the fireplace and kitchen, were other changes made during Lambert’s tenure in the home.

Spanning three levels, and set on a quarter of an acre, the home’s design also features a floating staircase adorned with a topaz light fixture; a retractable glass wall that opens to the backyard and pool area; and floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace in the living room.
For the buyer who likes to cook, the kitchen’s stocked with high-end Wolf appliances, too.
The property also includes an attached two-car garage.
