Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt Announce They’re Pregnant With Their First Child—Just Months After They Moved in Together

Former “Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson is expecting his first child with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt—just a few months after it was revealed that they had moved in together.

Hewitt, 29, confirmed the news of her pregnancy in an Instagram post shared on July 16, in which she jokingly wrote: “Welp now everyone knows we had sex.”

The accompanying carousel of pictures and videos featured a clip of the happy couple during an ultrasound appointment, as well as some photos that appear to have been taken at Davidson’s home in upstate New York.

Hewitt, who is originally from London, also shared a photo from her ultrasound and a funny selfie taken of herself and her comedian boyfriend, 31, wearing matching face masks during an at-home pampering session.

News of the pregnancy comes just four months after Hewitt and Davidson confirmed their relationship on Instagram, where the model shared a video of the “SNL” alum in a white bathrobe.

Just a few weeks later, sources told People that the loved-up duo had taken the next step in their romance by moving in together—with the insider claiming that they were splitting their time between Davidson’s property upstate and a rented brownstone in Brooklyn.

“Pete and Elsie have been living together in New York for the past few months,” the unnamed source shared. “They’re splitting their time between Pete’s house in upstate New York and a brownstone they recently started renting in Brooklyn.

“They’re so happy together and doing great.”

The comedian revealed in February 2022 that he was leaving his longtime home in Staten Island—where he was born and raised—in order to relocate to Brooklyn, initially taking up residence in a rented penthouse apartment.

That penthouse, which is in Brooklyn Heights, was later put back on the rental market just one year after Davidson moved in, with a sky-high asking price of $30,000 a month, although that was later dropped to $23,000 a month.

Meanwhile, the actor put his former Staten Island abode on the market for $1.3 million in 2022—although records indicate that he still owns a home in the area, along with his sister, Casey, who is also named on the deed.

That property was purchased for $1.3 million back in 2016, although it’s unclear whether Davidson has ever actually lived there or if his sister is the main occupant.

While Davidson is understood to still have a home base in Brooklyn in the form of a brownstone rental, his primary abode is located “in the woods,” he revealed during a February 2025 appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

Noting that Davidson’s choice of location might have come as a surprise to some, Meyers joked: “Not a lot of us predicted you in the woods.”

“I know,” the Staten Island native replied, adding: “My neighbors are very confused.”

Still, Davidson appears to be taking full advantage of his isolated retreat, with the images posted by Hewitt as part of her pregnancy announcement showing the happy couple posing in and around the sprawling property, while sporting matching ensembles.

Though the comedian has revealed few details about the home, his desire to move to a more remote location was initially revealed by a rather unlikely source: lifestyle guru Martha Stewart.

Back in 2023, when Davidson was still dating Chase Sui Wonders, Stewart revealed that the couple had been house-hunting near her own farm in upstate New York.

“Pete’s looking for a house in my neighborhood,” the famed cooking expert said during an appearance on Access Hollywood. “So he came over to see my farm and understand what it was like to live in and around Bedford.

“He had such a nice time; came up to the house and chatted for a while. He seems very happy.”

While Davidson’s relationship with Wonders ran its course not long after that visit, the actor has always been open about his dream of one day starting a family, telling fellow comedian Kevin Hart in 2022 that it was his “favorite” goal.

“My favorite thing ever, which I’m yet to achieve, is I wanna have a kid,” he admitted. “It’s super corny, but it would be so fun to dress up a little dude.

“I’m so excited for that chapter so that’s kind of what I’m just preparing for now, is trying to be like good as a dude and develop and get better so when that happens it’s just easier.”
