A former Goldman Sachs executive has put his sprawling oceanfront Florida abode on the market for $16 million—complete with nearly 2 acres of space for future owners to make their own.

Frank Brosens, co-founder of Taconic Capital Advisors, bought the Vero Beach property for just $2.5 million in 2013, according to records, but is now trying to make a serious return on that investment, albeit not quite as hefty a profit as he might have hoped.

Brosens and his wife, Denise, originally listed the “masterfully designed” home for $19.5 million in 2022, when it sat on the market for eight months before being removed.

Now, it’s back—and with a much lower price tag.

The mansion, which is represented by Michael Merrill and Johnny DelPrete of The Exclusive Group at Douglas Elliman, spans more than 13,300 square feet and is located in a luxury residential community known as Windsor.

“The 13-bedroom, 14 full and three half-bathroom compound is situated on nearly 1.7 acres within Windsor’s estate section,” states a press release shared with a Realtor.com®.

The gorgeous estate includes a main residence and four guest cottages. Two of the cottages each feature two bedrooms, while the other two boast three bedrooms.

A resort-style, 53-foot lap pool perfectly borders the facade, and there’s a detached four-car garage.

The home was built in 2014 in the architectural style of the British West Indies, featuring stucco-clad exteriors, shingle roofing, and modern structures.

The dwelling was “conceived to harmonize with the natural beauty of its surroundings. Indoor-outdoor living is central to the design, with French doors opening to shaded verandas and breezy walkways that connect each structure,” reads the press release.

The dwelling’s open floor plan is accentuated by a large living area and a chef’s kitchen, which is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances.

Further inside the property, there is a billiard room and a pingpong room, both of which display whimsical and colorful designs. Throughout the home, an all-white color palette exudes elegance.

The living space offers guests the perfect place to unwind, while the stylish dining room boasts a great entertaining area. All of the rooms offer ceiling-to-floor windows and pops of blue for an oceanfront aesthetic.

“Beyond the home, Windsor itself is one of the most architecturally cohesive and culturally robust private communities in the country.

“Conceived by New Urbanism pioneers Andrés Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk, Windsor blends privacy, art, and thoughtful planning,” adds the press release.

“Residents enjoy access to an oceanfront Beach Club, a Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed golf course (a certified Audubon sanctuary), tennis and equestrian facilities, and a European-style Village Centre. A curated calendar of cultural and wellness programming enhances its multigenerational appeal.”

Remarkably, the property does not come close to being the priciest listed home in Vero Beach. Currently, four dwellings are on the market for upward of $24 million, including one oceanfront megamansion that is priced at a staggering $39 million.

Though Brosens is offloading his Florida home, he has plenty more properties to choose from should he wish to escape his working life in New York City.

According to records, in addition to the Manhattan apartment Brosens purchased for $6.25 million in 2010, he owns several dwellings outside of the Big Apple.

These include a seven-bedroom, 6,000-square-foot property in Southampton, which the investment expert bought for $3 million in 2014, as well as a home in Massachusetts, which was purchased in 1995 for just $229,000.
