NFL player Jonathan Allen has listed his sprawling Virginia dwelling for $4.25 million—just weeks after he was released from the Washington Commanders.
The defensive lineman, 30, was given permission to seek out a trade in February; however, after failing to find a team, Allen was released. Just days later, he signed a three-year contract with the Minnesota Vikings as a free agent.
Now, Allen is leaving Washington, DC, behind for good and has put his 9,500-square-foot home on the market and may be eyeing up a property in Minnesota.
And luckily for Allen, his property has already found a buyer, with the home being under a contingency, meaning that Allen has accepted an offer and it will go through if it meets certain conditions.
The abode, which is situated in Great Falls, VA, was built in 2011 and sits on 2 acres of land.
The property spans three levels, comes with five bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and has gone through $1.5 million worth of upgrades since Allen snapped it up in 2020 with his wife, Hannah, for $2.6 million.

Upon entering the home, guests are greeted with the chic chef’s kitchen, which comes with state-of-the-art appliances and two black and white islands.
The expansive living area features dark wood flooring, a cozy fireplace, and large windows that allow natural light to flood into the room and accentuate the open floor plan.
Adjacent to the living room, there is a formal dining area with a dark wood table that can entertain plenty of guests.
Upstairs, there is a master bedroom with a large walk-in closet.

The numerous bathrooms come complete with marble showers and elegant fixtures.
The home, which is characterized by its many arches, features a large three-car garage and a dedicated laundry room.
The property also features a fitness studio, media room, UV water purification, and tankless water heaters.
Listing agents Dylan Maltz and Sherif Abdalla are handling the sale of the property together and noted that the home is “one of a kind.”
“While the outdoor spaces are truly one of a kind, a huge selling point will be the entertaining offerings of the property. From the home theater and recreation lounge to the expansive wet bar and spacious living and dining rooms, every corner of the residence blends sophistication and comfort,” Maltz said.
